Course requirements

Training is conducted in a Piper Twin Comanche, giving pilots hands-on experience in a capable multi-engine aircraft while developing the skills required for safe and confident multi-engine operations.

Accelerated Multi-Engine Training

Overview

Accelerated multi-engine flight training is designed for pilots who want to efficiently build the skills and proficiency needed to safely operate multi-engine aircraft. Through focused ground and flight instruction, you’ll gain hands-on experience with multi-engine aircraft systems, procedures, performance, and emergency operations while preparing for your checkride.

Our accelerated multi-engine courses are typically completed in 4–5 days, with the checkride scheduled for the final day.

Because Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) availability can be limited, accelerated courses must be scheduled in advance to coordinate training and checkride availability.

Depending on your previous flight experience and familiarity with different aircraft, most pilots require approximately 6–10 hours of flight training to become checkride-ready.
